Facebook adds a new function to greet your contacts

The social network Facebook has begun to add, little by little, new features. The latest news is the greetings feature, a new way to greet contacts and followers on Facebook.

This new feature is reminiscent of the old "touch" that Facebook facilitated between contacts. This time the tool appears as a new tab in the profile of our friends: say hello. When you hover the mouse over it, there are several options to send a greeting to that person: you can say hello, send a hug, a wink, hit the five or the well-known touch.

Users who receive the greeting may respond or simply hide the notification. Also, users will have the option to undo the action if it was accidentally sent. The company, announced, a few months ago that "the new function will be tested in several countries to improve the user experience." Now it has started to appear after testing its beta version in different points and profiles.

The option not only appears on computers but also on mobile devices. After the serious crisis that Facebook has suffered, the platform is trying to recompose itself with new fun tools that generate connection between users and more transparency.
